Sam Hiller RIP

It is with great sadness that I inform the people and friends of the Diocese in Europe of the death of Sam Hiller, son of Deacon Frances Hiller my chaplain and assistant. Frances received the news this afternoon of Sam's sudden death earlier in the day.

Please pray for Frances and the family: Sam’s brother and sister Tim and Lotte and their father Simon, that God will grant them comfort in their deep sorrow and strength to meet the days ahead. And of course, please pray for Sam, that God will receive him in His never-failing love into the rest of everlasting peace.

  1. Thank you Sam, we are very lucky and privileged to have had you in our lives. You brought people together; like the main axis to a dozen of the brightest of social circles. I can hear you telling me "Shut up!" right now in my head! (No, you shut up!)

I never did hear you sing, but I always imagined it to be a wonderful voice; and you know, that will do for me. It was the beauty of your soul that created that assumption in the first place. You were more than just some guy; you were a living energy. It's an energy I can feel any time I want, all I have to do is think about you.

You still exist in the conciousness of 626 friends and some of that good influence will pass down to our children; they certainly will be passed down to my two new beautiful twins. I'll make sure off that. All these people and more will be your living monument and you will live on for a long time.

You take care now, I'll see you on the other side mate, make some friends so you can introduce me to some more great people you like you use to do before.

    Bye mate xxx

I knew Sam and want to attend his funeral service but don't know anyone that knows when or where it is.
I would greatly appreciate it if you can email me either the details of the service or a number that I could call to find these details.

    Thank you very much
